We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Branch / Office Manager to join our team in Midrand. In this dual role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations and managing a diverse range of staff, including cleaning, reception, and sales staff. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
The key job responsibilities of the role are:
Operational Efficiency:
· Ensure smooth daily operations of the branch and office.
· Implement and maintain effective operational procedures and policies.
· Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and space.
Staff Management and Development:
· Hire, train, and supervise branch staff.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and employee satisfaction.
Customer Service and Relationship Management:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external customers.
· Act as a liaison between staff and the group service departments for e.g Finance, HR, Product Innovation and Facilities.
Compliance and Risk Management:
· Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
· Regularly review and update branch and office policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
· Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in branch management or a similar role, with a focus on office management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing diverse teams.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excel medium to advanced proficiency required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software systems, experience in working with an ERP system will be advantageous.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
