We have a client in the UK looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to join their team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing their clients Social Media strategies in order to increase their online presence and improve their marketing and sales efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not exhaustive)
SOCIAL MEDIA
· Research content for social media platforms.
· Design content for posts & stories.
· Stay on top of the post schedule per day.
· Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
· Manage and oversee social media content over all platforms.
· Measure the success of every social media campaign.
· Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
· Use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, and Canva.
· Research what the competition is doing and report back to management when necessary.
· Provide constructive feedback.
· Adhere to rules and regulations.
· Create paid campaigns over Facebook Ads and Boosted posts in the local area.
· Gain organic reach by sharing with local groups and interacting with the local area.
· Manage social media headers when necessary.
· Reply to comments, likes, and messages on all social media platforms.
· Upload blogs to the website and social media.
· Video editing
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY SKILLS:
· 2 + years of experience as a Social Media Associate or similar role.
· Experience in designing content on Adobe, Canva or other software.(Design)
· Experience in video editing.
· Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices.
· Excellent multitasking skills.
· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Good time-management skills.
· Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
· Own computer or laptop.
· ADSL/ FIBRE internet line.
· Headphones for use with our VOIP phone system.
· Anti-virus installed.
· UPS/ Back-up battery for load shedding.
WORKING HOURS:
09:00 - 18:00 UK Time
