Purpose of the Role
This is a temporary contract for absence cover. The Credit Control person will support the Accounts Manager through the week Monday to Friday

The Credit Controller Role:
- Management of Debtors including customer query resolution.
- Follow SOPs in relation to Debt Collection communication and escalation process which includes use of email, letters, reminder statements and telephone to ensure prompt payment.
- Use internal IT systems to record all communications with debtors.
- Resolve all problems with debtor accounts - handle all queries, provide copy invoices/statements.
- Manage debtor payment plans and direct debits.
- Process debtor payments received online, over the phone and through the post.
- Reconciliation of all debtors accounts for their portfolio on a monthly basis.
- Providing debtor reports to Accounts Manager.
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports to the Accounts manager on results achieved, issues and any possible potential debtor problems.
- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Company.
Required Skills:
- 2-3 years experience minimum in a credit controller/similar level role
- Proficiency in the use of Sage 50, MS Suite
- Strong analytical skills, Numerical skills and key attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
