SHAWARMA CHEF (ARABIC ONLY) [Qatar]


 

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Estimate the daily production needs, checking the quality of food products to ensure that standards are met
  • Ensure that the equipment is maintained properly, that the highest standards of cleanliness are kept and that safe and quality food handling is practiced at all times

  • Cook in a timely manner
  • Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment
  • Follow the FIFO (First IN First OUT) system of handling food or non-food items at all times
  • Ensure that HACCP standards are followed with consistency in the section
  • Ensure all products are in date and that accurate labeling is used to identify expirations.
  • Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
  • Check deliveries to make sure that ingredients are fresh and quantities are correct
  • Co-ordinates with CDP for planning of the section and supports during menu presentation
  • Ensure that wastage and spoilages are controlled in the section
  • Provide all the information related to machinery failure and small equipment damages to CDP
  • Work closely with the immediate superior to discuss customer demand, seasonal ingredient availability, and special events, and may also suggest menu options or new dishes
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Other Requirements:

1. Should possess vast experience as Shawarma Chef

2. With transferable Visa and NOC

3. Can start immediately
