MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal person will Have high level or accuracy and attention to detail. Consist of the Ability work well under pressure, at least three (3) years’ relevant experience and working knowledge in managing Stores processes and do basic numerical calculations. Furthermore, the ideal candidate Minimum Qualification, Grade 12.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Ensure that materials are purchased from approved suppliers, in accordance with the product specification.
- Quality documentation is filed for record keeping.
- Ensure that there are no packaging shortages and that stock levels are checked and maintained in accordance with production demands.
- Ensure that the correct procedure is followed with stock-takes as per allocated stock-take times.
- Ensure that the correct procedures are followed with month-end stock-takes.
- Ensure that all stock close-off deadlines are met.
- Ensure that verification is done after stock-take and reasons for variance is explained and signed at Admin.
- Responsible to ensure that action taken is communicated on the variance report.
- Ensure that communication with staff is done after a variance is noted on stock items.
- Generate all required Stores related reports.
- Manage all relevant communication processes with Stores staff, including INVOCOMMS.
- General housekeeping, and health & safety.
- Supervision of all direct reports including any other staff allocated to Stores.
- Responsible for all administrative matters in Stores.
