What's the role?
Contributing in developing the latest generation of high-power lithium ion battery packs. You will experience working at Hilti as part of our battery team and you will be actively involved in our research projects with a special focus on aging of the Hilti lithium-ion battery packs.
Start date is flexible and depends on the student's availability, duration for 6 months.

What does the role involve?
As intern you’ll be part of our interdisciplinary battery team, working on the latest lithium-ion battery technology. You’ll work closely with our experts focusing on battery research and development. Your key responsibilities involve different tasks within the following topics: electrodes preparation, Li-ion cell assembly, cell tear down investigation, electrochemical characterization, data analysis and reporting.

What you need is:
- Currently enrolled as master student in physics, chemistry, materials science or engineer discipline.
- First hands-on experience in lab work, like glove box or electrical characterization of batteries
- First experience in data analysis and programming MATLAB (beneficial)
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
- Enthusiasm of being part of an international team
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
